Dr. Kevin Ashby BSc., DC
Dr. Kevin Ashby is the co-owner and clinic director of Endurance on 8th Health Centre. Dr. Ashby’s primary focus of care as a Chiropractor is to eliminate your injury swiftly while improving your overall fitness & wellness with customized exercise and nutrition plans.
Dr. Ashby completed his Bachelor of Science in Cellular, Molecular, and Microbial Biology at the University of Calgary and obtained his degree in Chiropractic at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. During his studies in Toronto, he had the privilege of treating patients of all ages and backgrounds in various multidisciplinary settings. Additionally, Dr. Ashby obtained his certification in Active Release Techniques (ART) and in Certified Personal Training.
Health and wellness have always been an instrumental component of Dr. Ashby’s life. As a child diagnosed with Asthma, he participated in competitive ice hockey for seven years and later played and coached competitive basketball. Nowadays, he continues to stay active as a retired natural bodybuilder and one-half of the National/North American Pairs Champions (with his wife Dr. Carvalho-Ashby) with the World Natural Sports Organization. Dr. Ashby’s non-stop involvement in professional and recreational sports has helped him motivate others to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
Dr. Kevin Ashby is the Co-Founder and Co-President of Natural Physique and Athletics Association (NPAA). He and his wife, Dr. Wendy Carvalho-Ashby, have been instrumental in helping grow the sport of natural bodybuilding in Alberta and British Columbia. The NPAA is now the largest natural/drug-free bodybuilding federation in Canada. Johanne Hachez SMT(cc), RMT, Infant Massage Instructor
Johanne graduated from the 2200 hour program at the Foothills College of Massage Therapy and has been massaging since 2005. Her training consisted of intense study in anatomy, physiology, ergonomics, bio-mechanics, orthopaedic assessment, clinical studies, therapeutic exercises and hydrotherapy. She offers a variety of massage therapy techniques such as Swedish massage, proprioceptive Neuromuscular facilitation, deep tissue, Trigger Point therapy, myofascial release, visceral massage, manual lymphatic drainage, advanced sports massage, advanced deep tissue hot/cold stone therapy, oncology massage, teaches infant massage and has a history of Active Release Technique®.
She is committed to her clients and enjoys working with a broad range of pathologies, including cancer patients, TMJ, motor vehicle accidents, female breast concerns, shoulder concerns, paralysis, headaches, pre /post natal massage and degenerative disc disease to name a few.
Johanne loves working with athletes, children, Injuries and repetitive strain. She is currently studying on becoming a Certified Sports Massage therapist.
As a RMT Johanne takes the time to learn what her clients goals are and will tailor her treatments to every individual’s needs to obtain the desired therapeutic results.
When she isn’t relaxing at work or watching sports, she is always working on kicking goals off her bucket list, travelling the globe or just simply kayaking or hiking in the mountains.

Dr. Sarah Hines is a registered psychologist in Alberta (CAP#7405) and holds both a Master of Arts and a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Concordia University in Montreal, Quebec.
Dr. Hines assists those with mild to severe mental health challenges, including anxiety disorders, depression, addiction or substance use problems, eating disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and attention deficit-hyperactivity disorder. Dr. Hines is trained in Health Psychology, which is a specific branch of psychology that uses psychological principles to aid in the promotion and maintenance of health as well as the prevention and treatment of illness. Dr. Hines brings a wealth of experience to her practice. Her approach fosters a collaborative therapeutic environment, rooted in warmth and empathy, which serves as a catalyst for self-exploration, insight, healing, and personal growth.
Central to Dr. Hines’ therapeutic philosophy is the belief that behavior change driven by reconnecting with core emotions, releasing inappropriate guilt and shame, managing anxiety, and developing healthy coping strategies. She adopts an integrative approach to therapy, drawing from Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Short-term dynamic psychotherapy (such as Affect Phobia Therapy), as well as other evidence-based methodologies like motivational interviewing, mindfulness, and gut-focused hypnotherapy.

Tamara holds a Master’s Degree in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University and is a Certified Canadian Counsellor. She is also a Registered Nurse with a Bachelor of Nursing from Mount Royal University, specializing in medical and surgical nursing, and a Certified Coach.
With a warm, collaborative, and client-centered approach, Tamara is dedicated to creating a safe space for open dialogue in both in-person and virtual settings. She works with individuals, couples, families, and children aged 5 and up across Canada, helping them build, rebuild, and strengthen relationships. She also facilitates group sessions that offer supportive environments for clients to connect and share experiences.
Passionate about health and wellness, Tamara supports clients in achieving fitness goals, improving body image, and managing mental, physical, and emotional challenges. She tailors her methods to each individual’s needs, using tools such as humour, movement, art, and play. She also plans to incorporate animal therapy in the near future to further enhance the client experience.
